Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film was co-produced by Anurag Kashyap, while the story of the film was written by Jagdeep Sidhu. Actually, this story was of acid survivor Laxmi Agarwal of Delhi, on whom acid was thrown by her one-sided lover. Even after several months of treatment, Lakshmi’s face was completely disfigured. Initially, she had made up her mind to commit suicide, but she decided to fight against the changing attitude of the society towards acid victims and in 2006 filed a PIL regarding the acid ban. She also won the case in 2013. Deepika Padukone played the role of Lakshmi in the film Chhapak.

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl

The Kargil War changed a lot in the history of the country. When the country’s way of fighting changed, the soldiers also showed the courage to lick the dust of the enemy who had entered the house, but this Kargil war also introduced the country to the first woman pilot of that time. The name of that pilot was Gunjan Saxena, who is also known as The Kargil Girl. Janhvi Kapoor played the role of Gunjan Saxena in the film released in the year 2020. Please tell that when the Kargil War broke out in 1999, Gunjan was just 19 years old at that time. His posting was done in 132 Forward Area Control (FAC), from where he had to evacuate the soldiers who were injured in the war.
