Career of Satish Kaushik
Born on 13 April 1956, Satish was a theater artist before venturing into the film industry. He also studied from NSD. He has not only been an actor but also a director and screenwriter. He made his debut as a director with ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’. The actor wrote funny dialogues for Kundan Shah’s comedy film ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’. Satish had no break even in acting. He is best known for playing Calendar in ‘Mr India’ and Pappu in ‘Deewana Mastana’. He has also worked in films like ‘Brick Lane’, ‘Ram Lakhan’ and ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’.
It is said that Salman Khan slapped Satish on the sets of ‘Tere Naam’. However, the actor dismissed these reports.

Talking about personal life, in the year 1985, Satish Kaushik married Shashi Kaushik. He also had a son, whose name was Shanu, but in the year 1996, at the age of just 2, his child died, due to which he was broken. However, he did not lose courage. After 16 years, he became the father of a daughter through surrogacy. He welcomed Vanshika in his house.
