On February 28, a message came on Nagma’s mobile that her net banking will be blocked, otherwise update your PAN card number tonight. After this Nagma clicked on the link, then OTP was asked. As soon as the OTP number was updated in the mobile, Rs 99,998 was withdrawn from Nagma’s bank account.
Nagma lodged an FIR
In this case, actress Nagma has lodged an FIR at Bandra Police Station. Many such cases have come to the fore in the last two weeks. Mumbai Cyber Cell had registered more than 70 FIRs in such cases, but no one has been arrested so far. More than 300 SIM cards are being used for such fraud, they have been identified.
